Jamie and Anna

Nickelodeon stars Jamie and Anna will bring a special edition of their hit show, Camp Orange, to the Skyfest stage. Camp Orange is a reality show like no other, with the grimiest, slimiest and most unusual challenges on kids TV. With slime, mud, bugs and all things messy, it’s not about the competition… it’s about having fun. Great for competitors and spectators alike. A comedy treat for the whole family!

Chris & Wes

Chris & Wes met four years ago at their local gym, where Wes was dancing and Chris was doing work experience. Wes convinced Chris to ditch his cleaning materials and join his dance class – even if they were to be outnumbered by 40 girls.

The pair have been choreographing and dancing together ever since, performing at bar mitzvahs and nightclubs as well as strutting their stuff on stage behind Cheryl Cole when she performed at the Royal Albert Hall for Children In Need.

Despite Chris suffering an ankle injury in early 2010, which resulted in him being out of action for five months, Chris & Wes remain an unstoppable dance force who pass on their extensive knowledge working as freelance teachers.

Emma's Imagination

Emma Gillespie has rarely done things the conventional way. So recently she played live at Wembley, had two singles in the top ten at once – then shortly after, she signed her first recording contract. “I’ve done it all back to front,” she laughs, “which is the way things usually happen in my life. It’s always sideways, never straightforward."

One day Emma passed pass the local auditions for Sky One’s new talent show Must Be The Music and thought ‘Why not?’. She won a spot on the show and viewers came to love her sweet, folky voice and heartfelt, beautifully crafted songs, eventually voting her the series winner at the live final at Wembley.

Her debut album is a collection of her best songs from the past ten years. Working in London with producer Martin Terefe (KT Tunstall, James Morrison, Ron Sexsmith), Emma has built a lusher sound on some of the tracks, giving them the fullness she always heard in her head when playing them on her guitar.

“My songs are quite delicate, and it would be easy to swamp them and crush them. I think we’ve got the balance right, and I’m already looking forward to my second album!"

Disney XD: Team Extreme

The Breakdance Show is brought to you by Team Extreme Ltd., and is a stage show featuring the famous Funkstylerz: a collective of specialist dancers, each among the world’s best in their chosen dance styles. Together these guys and girls produce jaw dropping explosive shows including bboy break dancing, popping, locking, robot, house, freestyle, old school hip hop, new school and acrobatics. Disney Channel: Shake It Up

Shake It Up is Disney Channel’s brand new dance-filled comedy series! It’s all about 14 year-old best friends CeCe and Rocky who land their dream as backing dancers on a local TV show and follows their experiences along the way. The show is all about dance, friendship and fun! This will be a fantastic performance of some moves inspired by the show by Disney’s own UK Shake It Up dancers. They’ll also be teaching you a few moves!

Nick Jr.’s Dora the Explorer and The Bopps live

Join Nick Jr.'s presenter Helena, for an exclusive live performance on stage at Skyfest London with Dora the Explorer and musical band The Bopps! Pre-schoolers and their parents are invited to join the fun, singing and dancing with the stars from Nick Jr.

The Africa Channel: The Vuvuzela Orchestra

The Africa Channel Vuvuzela Orchestra is unique to Skyfest, combining the skills of some of the UK’s greatest musicians with the loud, proud sound of vuvuzelas.

The vuvuzela experience brings to life the culture and diversity of The Africa Channel’s programming which ranges from current affairs and documentaries to entertainment, sport and drama, all inspired by an incredible continent.

Led by one of the UK’s most influential jazz musicians, Claude Deppa, the orchestra promises a musical kaleidoscope of Afro-jazz, soul and funk infused with salsa and reggae.

Skyfest goers will have the opportunity for vuvuzela tutorials with the band after the first set and a chance to soak up a taste of stardom, performing on stage alongside them later the afternoon.

Disney Junior

Come along to the Disney Junior tent for lots of family fun where you can watch lots of great cartoons and even get the chance to meet a very special guest*, so don’t forget to bring your camera!

Nick Jr: Meet Dora the Explorer and friends

Nick Jr. is home to the most popular kids TV characters in the UK such as Dora the Explorer, Thomas the Tank Engine and Peppa Pig. This year we are giving Sky staff and their families to meet them at the Nick Jr. area. As well as the character meet and greet area, there will also be a branded Nick Jr. picnic area for parents and their kids to chill out and enjoy all the entertainment at Skyfest, along with creative activities for kids to take part in.

National Geographic Channel

For guests and their children, Nat Geo Wild roars into Sunday with an unmissable family experience involving face painting, Jungle Jenga, Wild Snakes & Ladders as well as a trip ‘on safari’.

Eden

Eden is a natural history channel which aims to inspire viewers with a daily dose of astonishment and The Eden Explorer's zone at Skyfest is a place where this comes to life with amazing animals for adults and children to see and hold. There will be lemurs, meercats, monkeys and skinks with which attendees can have their photo taken and then have it printed out or upload straight to Facebook! There's also tables of activities for the kids and some awe inspiring programmes for parents to watch.

The Sky News HD and Sky Sports News HD studio experience

The Sky News and Sky Sports News Experience will allow Skyfesters to see what it really feels like to be on a live news set! Guests will be invited to register to take part in their very own live studio experience! The directors will usher the new reporters to their live news set where they will read from auto cues to the cameras. After Skyfest you will be emailed a link that will allow you to download your news report from home!

Discovery Channel climbing wall

Love Bear Grylls? You can now put on a harness and imagine yourself climbing a mountain with Bear on the Discovery Channel climbing wall! This mobile wall is 24ft tall and has over 20 climbing routes to ensure a real challenge for even the most accomplished climber. We'll have all the equipment you need, just come along and be ready to have an adventure! One for all the family.

Boomerang Petting Zoo

Love pets and animals? Join us at the Boomerang Petting Zoo, where you can meet some of the cutest animals and ride a pony.

Dropzone

Returning to Skyfest 2011, remember to fasten your seat belts on this terrifying sky high tower. The Dropzone slowly moves riders up the tower and then unexpectedly drops them down this vertical drop freefall tower.

Twister

If you’re looking for a tummy twisting experience look no further! Riders, seated and clustered together in small carriages, are suspended and sent spinning in cars while experiencing the illusion that they will crash into one another. The clustered vehicles are spun in one direction, while the ride as a whole spins in the opposite.

Dodgems

One of the most popular funfair rides, Dodgems are returning to Skyfest 2011. This amusement ride will keep everyone entertained bopping and banging all day long.

Bungee Trampoline (Sunday only)

A new variation on an old favourite, where you can bounce, spin and twist in Olympic Gymnast style without the strain and stress! Trained staff will help children fly high in the sky.

TOYSET (Sunday only)

This ride is extremely popular with all children as they can experience the thrill of driving their own vehicle, whilst waving to mum and dad as they go round.
